Demographic developments lead to challenges, opportunities and social changes. FernFH is responding to this trend with three new programmes for executive education: In autumn 2020, the master programme "Aging Services Management | MSc" and the certificate programmes "Health Services Technologies" and "Managing Generations and Technological Change" will start. The latter are part of the MSc but can also be taken separately. "We train experts who deal professionally and specifically with the promotion of the quality of life of different generations and their living together against the background of digital change and new technologies - in a professional as well as in an everyday context", says Programme Director Martina Nitsch.
Master programme “Aging Services Management”
The study programme focuses on the promotion of health and quality of life of ageing people, taking into account generational and technological change. Students of the "Aging Services Management | MSc" programme can specialise in "Health Services Technologies" or in "Managing Generations and Technological Change". These two specialisations can also be booked independently as certificate programmes.
Specialisations and certificate programmes
- "Health Services Technologies" is particularly concerned with technology-based aids and how these can improve the quality of life of people with special needs and the older generation and promote a self-determined life. The specialisation or programme is held in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien.
- In the programme "Managing Generations and Technological Change" students are trained to become experts who professionally analyse, conceptualise, manage and accompany change processes with regard to generations. FernFH cooperates with the NESTORGOLD initiative of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection in the programme "Managing Generations and Technological Change".
Interested parties can apply for the MSc and the certificate programmes by 30 June.
