"The demand for IT specialists cannot be met in Austria at present. The FernFH makes an important contribution to close the existing gap in supply with its distance learning programme 'Business Informatics' ", said Sascha Sardadvar, economist andabilitated economic geographer, at the Vienna Study Centre of the Ferdinand Porsche FernFH, where he was awarded the title "Professor (FH)" for his scientific achievements. For the title “Professor (FH)” a person must prove successful and Sascha Sardadvar did it in a completely special way with his work, stressed Martin Staudinger in his laudatory speech. "We thank you for your useful scientific contribution", added the Head of Academic Board of Ferdinand Porsche FernFH.
Sascha Sardadvar works full-time in research at WPZ Research, an independent economic research institute in Vienna, and is a part-time lecturer in the degree programmes “BA in Business Informatics" (since 2010) and "MA in Business Administration and Psychology" (since 2015) at the Ferdinand Porsche FernFH. "I would like to teach economics as practically oriented as possible without simplifying", said the 44-year-old man. "I would be pleased if I could continue to support the FernFH with my teaching activity in the future", the professor emphasized in his words of thanks.
