Birgit Teufer,MA
Birgit Teufer has headed the Institute of Business & Psychology at Ferdinand Porsche FERNFH since October 2024. Until September 2024, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Business & Psychology. Her research interests lie in the areas of (sustainable) consumer behaviour, consumer perception and sustainable development, as well as ‘green’ marketing.
As part of her doctoral studies at the University of Klagenfurt, she focussed on collaborative consumption in consumer networks and similar social innovations, using a variety of different research methods.
Birgit Teufer previously worked for several years as a research assistant at the University for Continuing Education Krems and IMC Krems, where she was involved in both national and international research projects in the fields of health promotion, collaboration and cooperation (e.g. open innovation, community-based initiatives) and sustainable marketing. Since 2016, she has regularly taught research methods, business psychology and marketing at several Austrian universities.
