Barbara Prazak-Aram

Barbara Prazak-Aram will take over the leadership of the Master’s program in Digital Health Management in the fall of 2024. Since September 2022, she has been a research associate at the Institute of Health Sciences and has been teaching in the Bachelor’s program in Aging Services Management since 2016. Additionally, she has been teaching for many years at various universities in Austria.

Prior to that, Barbara Prazak-Aram spent more than 15 years in non-university research, focusing on rehabilitation technology, Active & Assistive Living, and User Experience Design at the intersection of technology and social sciences. She has extensive experience in project management and leadership of national and international projects, as well as in securing third-party funding.

Her research interests lie in the fields of Active & Assistive Living, assistive technologies for the elderly and people with disabilities, and in the implementation of participatory research designs with vulnerable target groups, along with ethical and methodological issues.
